Hawfinch

Three were at Forestganol just after 3pm in the tree tops between the 'up'path and the white house (not the cottage with the veg for sale, the one further along the road heading into Cardiff). The male of the group was very vocal and even burst into song for several minutes before being joined by the other two and heading off toward the garden of the house above (I saw 2 there last Wednesday dropping in and out trees into the garden although views were awful from the path and may be best viewed from the road if they continue to feed there).

I should say that the house in question has some feeders in the lower branches of the trees surrounding the garden, so the birds may be using them?
