I thought it was a classic portrait of field craft in action - one to add to my file of photos of local birders. At least 5 of the wader in the file now!

If you squint you can just make out the Gwent bird 'inspector' Chris Jones in the background... obviously policing the crowds.

This is a photo of the wader in the sinbin for 10mins, for trying to double-up his monopod for a reed mace with wispy bits of fluffy hair. Bless im.
