Water Rail : Parc Slip NR,Bridgend

Spent an hour this morning photographing a showy Water Rail feeding around the margins of the pond behind the visitor centre before diving off to photograph my eldest grandson playing rugby for Maesteg Welsh U13s who beat Pontyclun RFC by about 70 pts.

You certainly know how to take a good pic Jeff! Is this bird just as obliging as the one a few years ago?

Thanks Rob,it appears to be and can be photographed in comfort with a cuppa and a Welsh cake from the new terrace at the back of the newly refurbished visitor centre/cafe.

You don't need to get really close Rich unless you're using one of those "tidly" 300mm f2.8 lenses !!

Brilliant record shots. Brilliantly fab shots of a brilliant bird in a brilliant place by a brilliant person. Brilliant. I'm positively overwhelmed and slightly damp. Well done. Brilliant.
