The first question that springs to mind is how does Seymour know what Homer Simpson's genitalia looks like ? Anyway, Rob, Have you seen one before (YN Albatross not Homer's bits) ? Do you only go seawatching once a year when Derek says it's going to be windy ? If the answers are no and yes, then it's a shoe in for an accept ;-)

No Alex i've never seen one before (YN A)this is my first,that nose is so distinctive and yes seawatching about once a year is about right, Derek's windy forecast or not.Still the end of April is nigh so i'll be busy logging all those Poms!

Ah, the miracle that is Pomarine Skua migration along the Cardiff foreshore in April is nearly upon us. If you've never witnessed one of the natural world's most amazing spectacles, you need only imagine watching herds of wildebeest crossing the African plains to only begin to start imagining the scale of this spectacle. Truly amazing.
