An evening visit produced plenty of duck, Garganey 2, Teal, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Pochard, Shoveler, Gadwall. Also Wood Sandpiper 1, Black-tailed Godwit, several flocks of Whimbrel flying around, Dunlin 10, Avocet, Little Ringed Plover, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Lapwing.

Could not find Wood Sand this morning (Monday) and just 1 Drake garganey. 2 Sanderlings flew in with Dunlin flock but no Whimbrel otherwise much as Alex described. Quite a few young birds of several species.
