Rhymney estuary in the 70s.
I found this old photo of an old fasioned type hide i made and set up at Green point during the 70s waiting for the tide to come in. i remember it well because it was the first time i saw Shoveler and the Gulls roosted here as normal, i was completely surrounded by Gulls 'and in those days it was 1000s' they were pressed up against all 4 sides, 'magic'.
