Sightings

Lavernock - An afternoon visit to the reserve was quieter than yesterday but still 1 Spotted Flycatcher lingering and a few Blackcaps and Whitethroats. The sycamores around the Church were crawling with Chiff Chaffs mid afternoon and also 2 Willow Warblers. Grasshopper Warbler and Ring Ouzel seen by Graham today too. Goldcliff - evening tide, Little Stint 4, Dunlin 7,Ringed Plover 16, Greenshank 15, Spotted Redshank 2, Ruff 4, Snipe 20+, Black-t Godwit 6, Common Sand 1, Lapwing 30. Duck numbers building up and a few Yellow Wagtails in the grass on the island.
