Hen Harrier at R G W. this am.

Also Merlin,2 Greenshank,11 Little Egrets,Wheatear,and good passage of Linnets,Chaffinch,Goldfinch,Meadow Pipits,Pied Wags,all heading west except a few Swallows heading east.

I saw a stonking male come over the wall and off into Gwent a couple of years ago Ray,stunning but all too brief view.I hope to visit here more regular-all things being equal!Wont be long before the 1st Shorties turn up,hoping for another good year for them.
