Cosmeston

A pre-Christmas lunch visit produced lots of Gulls on East Lake again. The absence of divers (human kind), model boats and canoes makes a real difference to the viewing experience! The Caspian Gull has failed to reappear despite some intense watching indicating that its visit appears to have been a fleeting one (watch it pop up tomorrow !). Plenty of Tufted Ducks enjoying the festive peace and quiet, along with a Lesser Scaup type hybrid.
