Dog-shit Shrike (Lanius richii)

Two Marsh Tit's together in Cogan Woods at what I understand is known as the Dragon Tree (a large, old, fallen Oak on left hand side of the track). Pretty obvious. Good opportunity for toggers as the birds seem habituated to the many dog walkers.
Seems there was also a Dog Shit Shrike (Lanius richii) somewhere in the wood although I could not find it. Plenty of evidence that it had been about the area as its prey, little black bags full of shite were hanging on a few brambles.
Update - it seems that several Dog-shit Shrikes might be wintering locally as Mitch reported at least one present at Lamby Lake. Wonder if that shrike on the Wharf a few weeks ago was mis-identified?
