Brecon/Merthyr for Red Grouse

2 visits for Grouse produced 1 seen and 1 heard at different areas  not too far apart, a dog walker said he had flushed a couple before I got there will take other trip in a few weeks time
1st visit was in deep snow. The bird was low down off the open area along a forestry path out of the weather and the second visit was high up no snow got to within a hundred yards and it flew miles,  hard work trying to find these birds but a nice walk all the same

Not in Glamorgan I know but had 8 Red Grouse on The Blorenge this week. Surely the most accessible RG's in South Wales?
