Ural Owls in Sweden - while ringing of nest box owlets
Two of three young in the nest box
Female concerned as the ringers ring the nestlings
Yes the ringer has thick clothing and a very well scratched black helmet. There are two other guys one has a long pole with a 600mm square solid 'flag' coated in soft foam - to wave at the Owl if she attacks the ringer. The chicks are about the same size as a fully grown Tawny owl.

Did you get a shot of the ringer with his 'armour' on. and the bloke standing behind to ward off attacks ?
