Ely River
Hobby gliding slowly west over the Ely Link Road at 11.15
No kidding Judd, its my fav place & hope to return a few more times this summer. We had a new friend with us Tom, who collected a few "lifers" along the way & whose keen eyes helped us to reach 75 species. Dave s partner could not join us at the last moment.

Saw about 10 in the air at the same time at Meare Heath! Missed you today Judd having bumped into D C Palmer and our Cliff.
Indeed Steve plus Marsh Harrier and Garganey - wish that place was this side of the channel!
