Newport Wetlands (Goldcliff)

11 Little Ringed Plover, 9 Ringed Plover, 5 Greenshank, 1 Sanderling, 72 Dunlin, 38 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Common Sandpiper from 2nd hide this morning.

Also, 1 dead Barn Owl (road casualty) on hard shoulder of west bound carriageway of A48M just east of St Mellons, Cardiff....there's not enough of them as it is!

There was also a dead Tawny owl on the hard shoulder on the a48 Eastern ave this morning.

Where to Rob? The bird I saw was on the motorway just before it merges into the Eastern Avenue at St Mellons.

Between the Southernway roundabout and the Gabalfa roundabout,c1/2 way West bound.
