Sightings

Lavernock - quite birdy this morning with plenty of Goldcrests around the church. The hedgerow adjoining the first field along the coastal path at one point held at least 20 Chiff Chaffs feeding out in the open. Otherwise, birds over included Redpoll, Siskin, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Chaffinch, Redwing, Song Thrush and a steady stream of Swallows and House Martins. Also 2 Hawfinches over per PB.

Cosmeston - a few Tufted Ducks on West Lake were joined by 2 Pintail which flew in whilst I was stood there. Otherwise Goldcrests, Chiff Chaff & Blackcap.

Cardiff Bay - Yellow-legged Gull in roost this evening.
