Although Spoon-billed Sandpiper was the main target, Pak Thale was teaming with large numbers of other waders. Nordmann's Greenshank, Asian Dowitcher, Far Eastern Curlew, Pacific Golden Plover, Red-necked Stint, Long-toed Stint, Great Knot, Lesser Sand Plover, Greater Sand Plover, Marsh Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper etc.
