Gileston

Brent Geese numbers back up to 21 with 3 being dark bellied. Just before christmas I had counted 25.
Wigeon back to about 50 with numbers about 150 before Christmas.
There was a Pipit showing just inside fence between the 2 flights of steps which probably is a Littoralis Rock Pipit, in with about 10 Rock and a few Meadow Pipits.
A walk over Barry Island yesterday I saw which was very propably a northern Herring Gull.
Still no sign of the Ivory Gull at Gileston- 20 years to the day!

Doesn't time fly!! Still the only one I have ever seen and still remember the crazed look on your face on the sea wall when we finally got there. Thank god for your Sony "brick" otherwise no-one would have seen it. How times have changed, now just a stress free tweet and sit back and relax 😎
