Totally titless on the 6th - I'm having one of those weeks where nothing hangs around!!

No sign this afternoon despite 2hrs or so of looking with the wadermeister, although they were apparently there around 08:30.

Rob, I noticed that the ring in the bottom pic is almost readable and the code may fit with ours from the Newport Wetland Reserve. Have you got any more shots showing the ring?

Hi Darryl, unfortunately no,i've been through all the images and can't improve on that one, what looks like L57 with possibly a W on top is about all i can make out.

Thanks Rob, it would appear to be one of ours from this year (we have done about a dozen in 2010), I was just wondering whether it would be possible to narrow it down further. Cheers.

It turns out that we (Goldcliff Ringing Group) have only ringed four Bearded Tits on the 'L57****' sequence and only one male, caught on 12th September 2010. The Cosmeston bird becomes our first recovery,... thanks Rob.
