Sightings



Heliport Bay - 7.30 - 9.30 , Wigeon 2 (u/c), Sandwich Tern 2, (u/c), Merlin 1. Visible migration all heading east - Meadow Pipit 400+, Pied Wagtail 250+, Siskin 40 +, Goldfinch 100+, Chaffinch 10, Grey Wagtail 8, Swallows pretty much steady stream.

Rumney Great Wharf - Dark Bellied Brent Geese - 1 group of 3 u/c, followed by group of 5 that came back and sat on water. Earlier group of 6 past (CE). How many birds, well either 6 or 14 depending on how you count....... Similar birds to Heliport heading east, also Sand Martin 1, Sparrowhawk , juv Hobby. Clive had Hen Harrier and 2 Wood Sandpipers.
