Bittern at Kenfig Pool - Oct 30th 2010


Hi there,

New to the blog, but think its superb and a great opportunity to post a picture of a Bittern at Kenfig Pool last month. Im pretty new to wildlife photography and this was one of those days where all seemed very quiet, but after only 20 minutes in the Arthur Morgan hide this beautiful bird strolled cautiously from one reedbed to the other. I managed to get a few crackers and was buzzing for the rest of the week !!

Thanks Clive, but so much luck involved. Prior to 20 minutes in the AM hide it was the usual coots, mallards, swans and gulls !!!!
