Waxwings in Cardiff

Reported on GBC site - 100+ Waxwing in Llanishen - apparently roosted in trees opp bus shelter last night, near the ploice station apparently.
On my TTV this morning near Heol-y-Cyw [VoG, SS18M] met a bloke who had bagged a Woodcock which he showed me - rather upsetting, but I kept schtum - he had a gun and I just had bins. Sad way to add a new species for the tetrad.
