Always wary of judging a bird on a single photo but IMHO the bird in the pic is an Iceland Gull. To me Glaucous Gull always has that give me your wallet or I'll break your F....g legs look. Just can't see it in this bird. The head shape, bill size and lack of a strongly bi-coloured bill all point towards Iceland rather than Glaucous.

It's definately an Iceland Gull and it's good to see a few of these turning up this winter

Iceland Gull in my view, but just goes to show that some Glaucs and Iceland can prove troublesome even for the most experienced observers (and records committee alike) - no shame in that, we are learning all the time.
