Sightings
Lavernock Point - A nice little session this morning in between rain showers, included Woodlark over the church and Ring Ouzel along the coastal path. Otherwise Sparrowhawk, Chiff Chaff 10+, Goldcrest 5+, a few Mistle Thrushes, Chaffinch, Linnet Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Redpoll, Siskin, a few small groups of Meadow Pipits and Jays and just a handful of Swallows.
Yesterday - Lavernock Point - fairly quiet on the vis migration front. A trickle of things through included Crossbill, Siskin, Redpoll, Chaffinch, Brambling, Great Spotted Woodpecker, a couple of Linnet and Goldfinch flocks. Also a few hundred Swallows and a couple of House Martins, only a handful of Chiff Chaffs, along with several large groups of Wood Pigeon , a couple of Stock Doves , a group of 5 Jays & Treecreeper.
LBBG OLF present on both days at Cosmeston. Ringed Flat Holm in July.
