Cardiff Area

The Lesser Scaup was again on the reserve this morning in Cardiif Bay. I couldn't find the Black-necked Grebe on the River but apparently it was seen earlier. There was a male Black Redstart in my garden on Penarth Marina early afternoon. In process of arranging a select invite should it hang around ;-)  Already on the garden list, along with Waxwing, Bonaparte's Gull, Lesser Scaup, Slav & BN Grebe. Quality not quantity !

A prolonged scan of the Gulls at Lamby Way tip failed to produce any white wingers.
